Properties of the LA PLATA SAND series:
ADA la Plata Sand does not alter the chemical value of the water. It is safe for all fish. It is perfect for creating a multicolored substrate and for areas free of plants. It can be mixed with other sands or gravels.

Natural Aquarium Substrate: This is a portion of gravel where aquatic plants are planted. It is a specific combination of different substances. The bottom layer of the substrate is a 5-10 mm layer of Power Sand, which contains organic substances of plant origin and slowly releasing inorganic nutrients. These nutrients are delivered to the plants. Then there is a layer of natural Aqua Soil. Its particles are delicate, and the high content of organic acids contributes to root development. The final layer is light sand, used as decorative sand in the foreground of the composition. The reason for using such diverse materials is that such a system allows for healthy plant development and a natural look of the aquarium. Although the light sand does not contribute to plant growth as much as the Aqua Soil layer, it is used for decorative purposes. However, the growth of plants in this area should not be allowed as there are no conditions for their growth.
