Description
About the Rotala RED plant:
Originating from Southeast Asia, Rotala Rotundifolia is one of the most popular aquarium plants. It features long, delicate stems and thin, round leaves that grow alternately.
The plant thrives outside of aquatic environments. Above the surface, it produces small flowers.
A high concentration of iron will cause the plant to turn red.
The plant can be easily propagated by trimming and inserting new cuttings into the substrate. The substrate should contain a significant amount of macro and microelements.
When planting clumps, they should be spaced 2.5 cm apart to promote faster growth.
The addition of CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular trimming when cultivated under the right conditions.
