For which dog is the beef trachea? How to chew it?
The trachea, although it may seem unassuming, is very tough. Its structure consists of cartilage, ligaments, and smooth muscles. It crunches a lot, and the "tube" shape allows for longer playtime and makes it easier to get a hold of it with teeth. A large trachea is fully recommended for large dogs. It can take some dogs several days to work through it.
