A challenging task for enthusiasts of unique species of fish and plants from around the world is to recreate the natural conditions in which aquatic fauna and flora live as closely as possible. One of the most important factors that allow for a closer approach to nature is the substrate, which serves several important functions in the aquarium. You can find many different types of substrates that are placed on the bottom of the tank at an aquarium store - Aquario.pl. In addition to popular decorative sands, gravels for aquariums, and substrates that enrich the bottom, there are also so-called active substrates for aquariums. Their main task is to care for the root system of plants, which grow faster and healthier thanks to the right mixture.
